I am a professional freelance writer of strictly non-fiction material, and have been a freelance writer for magazines and newspapers since 1987

 

BACKGROUND:

Before becoming a writer, I worked as a maintenanceman for hotels, restaurants, and hospitals.  Part of that time I was a maintenance supervisor for a 100-bed hospital.

In my early years, I worked in factories, shops, garages, and some construction work. For more than 20 years I had a sideline business of performing home repairs.

Many of those experiences have been useful in my work as a writer.
